Ingredients:

For the Raspberry Syrup:

1 cup fresh raspberries (or frozen, thawed)

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup water

For the Lemonade:

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-5 lemons)

4 cups cold water

1-2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Ice cubes

Garnishes:

Lemon slices

Fresh raspberries

Rosemary sprigs

Instructions:

1.Make the Raspberry Syrup:

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of granulated sugar, and 1 cup of water.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently until the sugar dissolves.

Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. The raspberries will break down and the syrup will thicken slightly.

Remove from heat and strain the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve into a bowl, pressing the berries to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids and let the syrup cool to room temperature.

2.Prepare the Lemonade Base:

In a large pitcher, combine 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice with 4 cups of cold water.

Stir in the cooled raspberry syrup, adjusting the sweetness by adding more syrup if desired.

3.Infuse with Rosemary:

Lightly bruise 1-2 sprigs of fresh rosemary by gently tapping them with the back of a spoon. This releases the oils and enhances the flavor.

Add the rosemary sprigs to the pitcher with the lemonade mixture.

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to allow the rosemary to infuse. For a stronger rosemary flavor, let it sit longer.

4.Serve:

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the raspberry lemonade over the ice.

Garnish each glass with a lemon slice, a few fresh raspberries, and a sprig of rosemary for a touch of elegance.

5.Optional Adjustments:

If you prefer a sparkling version, substitute some of the cold water with sparkling water just before serving.

We hope you’re excited to try this raspberry lemonade with rosemary! How do you think the rosemary will enhance the flavor? We’d love to hear how it turns out if you give it a shot. Feel free to share your thoughts or any tweaks you make to the recipe!
