We’ve had some unforgettable adventures on wheels, and today, we want to share some of our favorite RV-friendly destinations with you. Buckle up and get ready to hit the road with us!
Our first stop is the iconic Yellowstone National Park, a treasure trove of natural wonders and the perfect playground for RV enthusiasts. With over 2 million acres of stunning landscapes, including the famous Old Faithful geyser and the breathtaking Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, there's no shortage of awe-inspiring sights.
Famous Attractions:
• Old Faithful Geyser: Erupts approximately every 90 minutes. It's a must-see spectacle and a perfect spot to stretch your legs.
• Grand Prismatic Spring: This vibrant hot spring is a riot of color and a great spot for photos.
Opening Hours: The park is open year-round, but some services may be limited in winter.
Tickets: Entrance fees are $35 per vehicle, valid for seven days. Annual passes are also available.
The park’s various campgrounds cater to RVs, but reservations are highly recommended during peak seasons. You can find full hookups at the Fishing Bridge RV Park, which is centrally located.
Next on our list is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, straddling the border between North Carolina and Tennessee. This destination offers lush forests, scenic views, and a myriad of outdoor activities. The park is renowned for its biodiversity and historical structures, making it an exciting spot for history buffs and nature lovers alike.
Famous Attractions:
• Clingmans Dome: The highest point in the park, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
• Cades Cove: A picturesque valley with a loop road that provides opportunities to see wildlife and historic buildings.
Opening Hours: The park is open 24/7, but visitor centers have specific hours.

Several campgrounds, such as the Elkmont Campground, offer RV sites. Facilities here are limited to water and electric hookups, so be prepared to use your generator.
Our final destination is Yosemite National Park in California, known for its towering granite cliffs, magnificent waterfalls, and giant sequoias. Whether you’re hiking up to Half Dome or exploring the serene meadows of Yosemite Valley, this park is a feast for the eyes and a balm for the soul.
